The Jack & Newell oral history project grew out of Suzanne's own interest in a family owned firm that were once a household name in the Far North.

In partnership with four local historical societies, Suzanne set about recording the stories of former employees and customers of Jack & Newell Ltd, and developing a website where the stories could be shared.

Suzanne was researcher, interviewer, writer and producer for the project, with assistance from a team of local historical experts. She also designed the website, in collaboration with web developer Cameo Solutions.
