Great PubsGreat FindsZoik needed a copywriter who could put some personality into destination marketing collateral for the Far North Queensland section of ‘The Great Inland Way', a major Queensland Tourism themed drive route.

Suzanne travelled the route, picked up character and destination stories and wrote the copy for a range of marketing materials, including website, brochures, visitor centre signage, road signage and media kits.

DEWR need a Cairns writer to interview people and develop articles for a number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander publications and promotional materials. Suzanne's research, interviewing skills and cross cultural experience meant DEWR could outsource editorial and copywriting tasks, and meet their deadlines.

Their client's site was getting plenty of traffic but they wanted to refocus the site on its core sales mission. Fisher and Buttrose needed a web writer and editor to work with them on their new website. We're reworking their copy to make it accessible to specialists and non-specialists site visitors, without compromising the quality of the information. We've also taken over the production management of the site and are working with web developers RuttenTech to ensure the copy works with the constraints of Fisher Buttrose's graphic design led site, and that the website project is proceeding to Fisher Buttrose's timeframe. We're currently writing web copy for the EarthMotherChild.com, with an eye to SEO and e-commerce requirements.

We have also worked with Karen on marketing materials for Globechic Pty Ltd. Suzanne worked with Karen to identify and articulate the key messages for a Globechic introductory brochure, the researched and wrote the copy. (in production)

 
Flashblack

A brief look at Big Smoke 2008Flashblack needed a copywriter to help them develop promotional copy for funding submissions and sponsorship presentations.

We work with Flashblack to clarify and refine their project goals and strategies, then provide the research and copy for Flaskblack to use in their various promotional materials. SG Communications enables Flashblack to concentrate on the face to face, while ensuring their presentation is supported by clear, professional copy.

 
Cape York Churches Project
Photographer Kerry Trapnell needed a writer to research and write a series of profiles of former Church Missions in Cape York, to accompany his photographic documentation of Church buildings in the Cape. Suzanne was able to work with Kerry to develop the profiles and provide appropriate, relevant and considered copy to accompany his work.
 
Double Up Video
Double Up needed a scriptwriter for a number of documentary projects it was shooting and editing. SGC was able to work with Double Up to develop the script concept, research and liaise with the client and provide appropriate scriptwriting for the videos.
 
ANZAM

ANZAM - The Way AheadThe Australian & New Zealand Association to Management required a copywriter for a corporate glossy on their work and objectives.

Suzanne Gibson was able to research and develop an editorial concept for the publication, acceptable to ANZAM, then complete all copywriting for the 24 page brochure. Suzanne also researched and wrote profiles of each ANZAM member and its work for inclusion in the publication.

 
Central Land Council

Native Title Fact Sheet 1 406.77 KbThe CLC needed a copy writer for a Native Title Information Kit to help their remote area staff explain the concept to remote, indigenous stakeholders.

Suzanne worked with the CLC to write a series of simple English fact sheets that progressively explained the key concepts of Native Title and its application in Central Australia. Suzanne also worked with the graphic designer to ensure copy and graphics worked together to assist comprehension.
